How much does the AVIRT course cost?
The AVIRT program is offered at no charge for qualifying schools and churches. While the course is free, we do accept donations to help cover our operational costs and pay our instructors. For businesses and other organizations, there is a one-time fee of $2,500 for up to 15 employees. For groups larger than 15, please contact us for a custom quote.
Where are the training courses held?
Our training courses can be held at your organization’s location for your convenience, or at the HelpNow Foundation office in Lutz, Florida, upon request. We work with you to find the best location for your team.
Are your instructors licensed?
Yes. All of our instructors are licensed and certified professionals with years of experience teaching these courses. They are a core part of our veteran and first-responder team, bringing a wealth of real-world knowledge to the classroom.
What is the duration of the course?
The AVIRT course is a half-day program, typically running for approximately four hours. This includes both classroom instruction and hands-on drills to ensure every participant leaves with the confidence and practical skills needed to respond effectively.
Do participants receive a certification?
Yes. Upon successful completion of the course, each participant receives an official AVIRT certification, demonstrating they have been trained in active violence response and emergency bleeding control techniques.
